Here is a rare opportunity to develop your landscape, nature, wildlife and travel photography skills in a small group setting with a highly experienced photography professional and teacher. Dennis has been teaching photography for many years with carefully-structured, hands-on methods and a casual, gentle and patient style. The topics come alive through examples of his photos especially selected to illustrate the learning points. Workshops are limited to ten participants and consist of indoor instructional sessions combined with some in-the-field practice.
Dennis Minty is a professional wildlife and nature photographer, author, naturalist, educator and eco-adventure guide. Based in Newfoundland, his travels take him around the world including Antarctica, the Galapagos Islands, Africa, New Zealand, the Hebrides, Iceland, Greenland, Costa Rica, and frequent expeditions to Canada’s far North. He has authored many books of photography and environmental education. His latest bestselling books are ‘Newfoundland: An Island Apart’ and 'Labrador, The Big Land'.
